We met at their Connecticut Avenue apartment and proceeded to head downtown to one of the most important spots in this couple's history: The Supreme Court.  Margot was there when the Supreme Court overturned the Defense f Marriage Act and, as a result, same sex marriages performed in states where they are legal now are recognized by the federal government.  As a result, when Margot & Anne got married in the Fall in MD, Anne, who hails from Germany, was able to get her green card.
