Family is important to Laura & Al. The church they chose to be married in was overseen by Laura's family generations before. Al's brothers shared the part of "Best Men". Before the ceremony, Laura, her mother, and her bridesmaids joined together in prayer before walking down the aisle.
A common ideal shared by two sides makes that ideal even stronger when unified.

It was a gorgeous blue bird day at Chanteclaire Farm, just outside of Deep Creek Lake, MD. The first thing that struck me was Alyssa's dress, an homage to Nick's South American roots (though at the time he had yet to know that...). The 2nd thing that struck me was the fact that she wanted her friends & family to join them for the First Look.
As I write this I have come to the conclusion that nothing I write can compare to the connection and emotion that can be shown in photos. So I'll keep it short and sweet.
