Had a blast last weekend with Jess & David as they showed me around a little bit of their current city, Washington DC to shoot some engagement photos. We started at the Old Engine 12 Firehouse Restaurant, a favorite spot of theirs, had a few drinks, and eventually someone got up on the fire pole (irresistible). We then headed to the mall for some "monumental shots" (see what I did there?). Being the planner that I am I put a call in to the White House and ordered up some epic skies which turned out nicely.

Somewhere out there, there's a homecoming picture of me and this bride where I have a Backstreet Boys style haircut and the posture of a melting piece of cheese.  Yes, Gina and I go way back (we went to to Homecoming together as friends back when I was 16, if I find the picture, I promise I'll upload it).  Michael and I have gotten to know each other a bit, if not sporadically over the past few years.  I know this much: the man is funny and he likes whiskey.  All good things in my book.
